About the Journal

Embodied Intelligence is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the science and technology of embodied intelligence, with a focus on intelligent agents that perceive, reason, learn, and act through interaction with physical and virtual environments. The journal provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to explore the fundamental principles, computational methods, and integrated systems underlying embodied intelligence. It focuses on the dynamic interplay between perception, cognition, learning, decision-making, and action, with particular emphasis on embodied perception and cognition; embodied decision-making, learning, and planning; world models and predictive internal simulation; and embodied agents and robotic systems. The journal aims to bridge artificial intelligence, robotics, cognitive science, and related disciplines, fostering advances toward autonomous, adaptive, and generalizable intelligent systems capable of operating effectively in complex and dynamic environments.
