About the Journal

The Journal of Design Intelligence is is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal  dedicated to advancing the field of design through the integration of intelligence, creativity, and technology. As design becomes increasingly complex, the need for a deeper understanding of intelligent systems, human-centered design, and data-driven approaches grows. This journal seeks to explore the intersection of design thinking, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cognitive science, service design, and Industry 5.0 to address contemporary challenges in design practice, theory, and education. Our goal is to foster innovation at the nexus of design and intelligence, bringing together scholars, practitioners, and industry leaders who are at the forefront of designing intelligent systems, enhancing human creativity, and shaping the future of design across industries.
