Article Processing Charges

All articles published in FFSP are Gold Open Access: immediately freely available to read, download, unlimited use, and reuse of articles.  All our journals are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0), and authors retain copyright of their articles.

Articles published after peer review, such as Articles and Reviews et al., authors need pay the article publishing charges (APCs). There are no charges when submitting the manuscripts, and no charges for rejected submissions. Some types (Editorials, Corrections, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published free of charge.

Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived before June 2026.

APC Discounts

To promote open-access publishing,  authors from Low-income and lower middle income  economies may be eligible for the APC waiver or discount. It should be noted that eligibility criteria may differ among journals, and the authors are advised to consult with corresponding journal offices.

After submitting your manuscript, please contact the journal office right once if you want to apply for an APC discount. Once your submission has been accepted, no more APC discounts will be allowed.
